Michael Boyte
I must agree, definitely was not the Janet Jackson nipple flashing halftime show that I had hoped for . But that's just me. 1
Glen
I agree Rob They clearly catered to a certain demographic. I had absolutely no intention of watching it once I heard it would be entirely hip hop themed. I like a lot of music - some hip hop and rap included - but it’s just asinine how there’s not even an attempt to feign the message behind the content. Which is why I left the party was at to run home to break and feed the dogs. And what the hell was up with Dwayne Johnson’s schtick? Ridiculous. GatorDog72
From the perspective of a millennial- It was ok. Not great, just ok. The music was great, we listened to a lot of that stuff in high school, but I felt like they could have done a lot more with the show. The thing with the busses was weird. Half the stadium couldn't see the show. Only when they came out on top of the busses. I think the thing I was most upset about was the fact they had 64's that didn't hop. How is Dr. Dre gonna show up to the Superbowl with 64's that don't hop? Lame! It was definitely an awakening for those around my age. (I'm 31) At first I was like wow this is really cool, they are doing something for the younger generation instead of Mick Jagger or Paul McCartney. Then, all of a sudden it hit me. I'm not the "younger generation" anymore.... Dr. Dre is 57, Snoop is 50, Eminem is 49, Fifty cent is 46, and the youngest of the bunch, Kendrick, is 34. Scary thought, getting old!!!!! 😆
420ponies
You are now the Goat! I thought it was cool to see all the old guys perform in front of the younger crowd. Music does not age for the people that listen to it, our bodies age is all. I listen to new metal as I do old metal, still the same vibe to me. You name it, I've heard it, all good to my ears. Good to see they all want to get together and jam. Political..... Maybe.... Saving face.... Definitely!
